We have BREAKING NEWS just announced: Eight non-profits filed a lawsuit against the government to stop the USCIS fee increase, and they won! At least for now, until the case can be fully heard in the courts, this fee increase is halted immediately.
The citizenship fees and the green card fees with work permits were supposed to be increased significantly effective Oct. 2, 2020. The court found that the justification for the increase is “arbitrary and capricious” – a familiar rationale for many cases being won against this government in power right now.
This is great news for everyone who could not get their case filed in time before the increase.
